So I've officially decided that I need to stop being lame and get on this whole blog-bandwagon! I used to be pretty great at it...and then life happened..but anyway no more excuses, let's get down to the amazingness!
I'm super tired right now and kind of want to hang out with people but I may conk out on them. So instead I'll just talk about the people who I think are amazing while they're not around. Here are some quotes (that have occurred either via face-to-face conversation, text, etc). These are the little joys in life that I love to write down because..it's a constant reminder of how awesome God is to make people as crazy, funny, talented, and exciting as he did. That and fortune cookies, I love to keep those too! haha.
"Ah..gosh...I really hate that.. I CANNOT STAND seeing wedgies"
-Andrew Price
"Yes, Alvin like the chipmunk...and he hates that"
- Hani Yang
"You two seemed to have developed a very nice rapport...Uh huh!"
- Josh Marble
"I cannot wait for friend love time!!"
- Erika Scopelli
"I'm starting to get really sweaty, and I can't tell if it's because I'm nervous or just hot"
- Leah James
"People in Johnstown, they stay there. End of Story"
-Britt Hayward
"Woah...do you ever think about how much other stuff we could buy if we DIDN'T buy burritos?"
- Andrew Price
"Yes, I have your diary...I've been meaning to get that back to you...but I just keep reading..."
- Dave Vandergriff
So maybe you found some humor in at least some of that, I sure hope so! I'm REALLY bummed that my camera has not been working but I promise as soon as I fix that situation,
PHOTOS WILL BE POSTED!!
Also lately... it's funny how things happen to you..but you really don't understand why until later..maybe it's a minute later, a day later, or in some cases even a YEAR later! God...is seriously absolutely insane the way He has completely crafted your life together like one big massive puzzle!! It blows my mind almost everyday and sometimes for the entirety of a day. As most of you [may or may not] know, my life is always crazy, and not even in a bad way--it's just crazy. One thing I'm actually really missing right now is LAFSC...I never thought I'd say it, but I do. I miss it. There are some aspects of it I would never wish to have back..but man...some of the people I left there knowing...I'm not understanding the great impact they've had on me as a person....gosh. God is just nuts. and I love it! :).
-----------------------------
It's super exciting that this is Easter week!! What greater holiday could there be...than one that recognizes Jesus coming back from the dead!!? I don't know how you feel about horror or zombie movies but... this is the REAL DEAL!! I love it. It's spring time, it's beautiful outside. Just think of all of the things you have to be thankful for :).
I'd like to go on... but I'm super exhausted. Maybe dinner and a powernap are in the near future for me. Until next time...
Stay Classy.
Have a nice day.
And if you're reading this... that probably means you're wonderful. :) *Forgive me if I said anything too wishy-washy or stuff that didn't make sense...I'm in a daze, that's for sure.*
Peace :)

Oh I believe there are Angels Among Us
I’ve been doing a ton of thinking which is both a good and a killer thing. Bittersweet, if you will. On several occasions this week I made a decision that life sucks and I just wanted to quit. Of course this was definitely not the first time that thought has crossed my mind and if you’ve known me for more than a week, you know that haha. It’s not that I’m suicidal and want to end life, don’t think that, no no way! But have you ever gotten to a point in life where you’re just like seriously? Oh my gosh, things are SO BAD right now… I don’t even know what to do…I have nothing. And that’s when I was reminded how amazing The Man Upstairs is and that Love will find you where you are….
“There are angels among us…sent down to us from heaven up above…And they come to us in our darkest hours.”
In my times of trouble I was immensely blessed by the angels surrounding me…so I looked it in the ol’ dictionary. When I read the definitions it gave me the eeby jeebies because these described to a “T” about what I had in mind about these wonderful people around me. And the cool thing is angels don’t have to have a glowing aura (though I feel that some do lol) and they don’t have to be sitting right beside me to be ‘with me’. Friends sprinkled throughout multiple states have chipped in lately and made sure I was making progress towards feeling better.

3. a messenger, esp. of God.
4.a person who performs a mission of God or acts as if sent by God: an angel of mercy.
5.a person having qualities generally attributed to an angel, as beauty, purity, or kindliness.
6.a person whose actions and thoughts are consistently virtuous.
Speaking of Angels… something absolutely genius on God’s part is how (they mention this in “The Shack”) someone can bring out good in another. The reference made in the book is that everyone has a certain colored spark but yet no two sparks create the same interaction as they do with someone else. So how person A can make you feel amazing and provoke great thought…but yet person B just doesn’t quite bring out the same thing. To me, that is amazingly crafty. One could say wow humankind is sweet! But really….it’s God: 10,000 points. Man: Zero. I love it J
Back to Life. Back to Reality.
Life isn’t easy. Never has been, and never will be. In the past I have heard people say “I don’t want to grow up…I want to go back to being a kid…” but really? Was life EVER really easy, even then? You started out screaming and crying until someone would provide you with a dry bum and a piece of plastic holding nasty warm milk inside… then later came the fights over who got the big wheel and I bet you don’t recall but.… THAT WAS A BIG DEAL!!! So it’s interesting how life changes. Do you ever have a situation where you’re like oh my gosh...why the heck is this happening? This is absolutely terrible..and then end up learning something from it? That’s the worst..and the best. Why can’t learning be easy right? Haha. It is amazing though when God provides the perfect person at the most appropriate time to assist you in making one more baby step forward. Oh this crazy life! Hehe. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving…I’m super thankful for you

Please Don't Take My Sunshine Away
The title of this blog may seem somewhat odd to you, given that I have been living in the Golden State for the past five months but I promise you it has a purpose.
As you may or may not know...this semester has definitely been one for the record books. Not only have I gained a great deal of knowledge and experience within my field of study but a ton about life. I've been to tons of shows, watched movies with the actors on screen sitting across from me, been apart of several film sets for school and actual TV, and I work with in the same building of people I'd grown up watching on TV or listening to on the radio. It's been somewhat of a surreal experience in it's entirety and half of the stuff that has happened may REALLY feel like a dream 6 months from now. Though the one thing that I won't forget are all of the people who are 2500 miles away and have kept me sane while I've been here!! Don't get me wrong I'm having a wonderfully amazing time here, but times come when I just need to talk to that person I've known for a good deal of time. Someone who knows me and understands me. These are the people I'm ridiculously blessed to know and I mean that with everything.
Regardless of my mood, the people I have spoke of are the lights that lift my spirit and encourage me to go on--no matter what. They ARE my sunshine :)
Earlier I went to the beach again and as always, it was incredible. I watched the sun set and it sunk below the horizon with vibrant hues of yellow and orange that stretched across the sky. And for the next few moments I was quiet and thought to myself,
"My dear goodness, please don't EVER take my sunshine away!!!"
If you still don't understand... I LOVE the sun and it's amazingness. I visit the beach almost every week to see the beautiful painted canvas in the sky and the reflections onto the water that spill over onto the sand.
Each one is the same, literally speaking....The sun goes down the sky is pretty. But the part I love about it is that...It's the same, yet it's completely different. Just like my amigos they are all technically the same, they're people. But just like the sunset, I love them all so much and for their different ways :).
I feel like a lot of times people underestimate their worth to others...so this is one of those times, where I for sure want it to be known :)
You've been tagged in this? You are one of those friends that is so dear to me :)
You are my sunshine
You make me happy when skies are gray
(or even when they aren't)
I hope you'll always know how much I love you
And no one can take my sunshine away :)
